This is an attempt to revive what this site was originally all about – an all encompassing sports podcast, covering interesting & burning topics from across the globe.

We got together, thought about it a bit, and decided to revamp the format to make it more topical & relevant. Things are only going to get better, as we will be implementing more ideas, and getting the hang of doing a regular podcast.

Here is what we dish out for you this week. The podcast is divided in 3 parts, with three of our team mates KC, Atul and yours truly discussing and giving our two pence on the sports stories that have been doing the rounds.

Part 1 – The crisis in London, and Europe’s richest footballer

The English football season is just 3 weeks old, but are we already witnessing an imminent crisis at Arsenal & Spurs? Or is it too early to call?

Also, Eto’o who is generally quite vociferous about racial abuse in football now decides to chase big money and head to Russia, where the crowd is not known to be entirely friendly. A contradiction to his ideals, or a super smart move?

Part 2- Another English crisis, the Sachin vs Dravid debate and the rise of Tatanagar Express

India is quickly trying to forget the disastrous tour of England. So who is to blame for the debacle, the cricketers or the authority?

Is Rahul Dravid a better service to the Indian Test team than *gasp* Sachin Tendulkar? (*waits for apocalypse*)

A quick discussion on India’s new pace crop, with Varun Aaron the Jamshedpur lad joining the England tour. Certainly things are  looking up for Jamshedpur, with a certain Subroto Banerjee setting the expectation bar really low.

Part 3 – The eternal British hope and how to save the Tiger

Andy Murray head into the US Open at the back of Cincinnati Open victory, so does he look good to finally win a slam?

Golf is not the same without Tiger Woods, so should there be something like a wild card in golf to allow someone like Woods to increase the appeal of the sport, and give him chance to come back in form?

The Lighter Side

KC discovered a racy promotional campaign by the La Liga club Getafe aimed at increasing their fan base. Have a look, and decide for yourselves if this converts you to a Getafe fan! (Warning: NSFW)

And Finally..

We end with a shout out to a team from KC’s Alma Mater, Akron Zips and their importance in the soccer structure of the States. Here is the link to the football ramble article about them.
